Abstract

The world of artists always hides something mysterious behind it. It just so happened that they see the planet in a different way. For many years, experts and artists believe that the world- famous masterpiece of Leonardo da Vinci "Madonna Litta" is not a painting of the artist at all, it's too painful for a baby to look like da Vinci's style. As a person interested in art, I became curious about this topic and I decided to figure it out. From about 1880-1886 the authorship of Leonardo da Vinci was first questioned by Giovanni Morelli. He attributed to the work Bernardino de Conti. This opinion was shared by Fritz von Hark, Delarov, Artur Volinsky and Bernard Berenson. All their beliefs were rejected by Hildebrandt, Voldemar von Seydlitz and Adolfo Venturi, who saw in the work of the brothers Evangelista and already known to us Ambrogio de Predis. Wilhelm von Bode, Bothari, Poggi, Oswald Siren and Lionello Venturi went so far as to consider this panel to be the work of an unknown master of the Milanese school, who made it from a cardboard box or drawings by Leonardo. Then Wilhelm Suida first proposed Marco d'Oggiono, already mentioned by me, as the creator. At the moment of research, there are a lot of unfamiliar names and a lot of misconceptions. I'm going to compare the handwriting of the proposed artists, compare the dates and collaborations of da Vinci with other artists during the painting period.

Bolraffio's sketches confirm his participation in the creation of the painting "Madonna Litta", which is still referred to as the authorship of Leonardo da Vinci. Leonardo is definitely the author of this painting, his sketch of the Madonna confirms this. But the fact is that he is not the only author, I can confidently say that Antonio Boltrafio is also a participant in the masterpiece of world art. You can also confidently answer that Marco oJoni and Ambrogio de Predis did not take part in the creation. Summing up this small research, I want to say that the world of art is very mysterious and incomprehensible. These types of researches are important for our modern humanity, because this is our legacy. Art is all around us, in houses, in squares, in gardens. For future research - mine, serves as an impetus for something bigger and faster
